Masters of Horror, or TV finally gets fucked up.
Showtime is running a new 1 hour Friday night series called Masters of Horror. The premise is that big name horror directors and writers do 1 hour shows.
Now I don't have Showtime so I found a copy and I'll have to tell you that this is some fucked up stuff. Halfway through the first episode I was thinking I would like to get copies of this to my co-workers. After the episode was over I thought there was no way I was going to recommend this.
The first episode, Incident On And Off A Mountain, is about a woman who is stranded in the woods after a car crash only to run directly into a serial killer. The story is intermixed with a plot about her psycho, right wing, survivalist husband. Plenty of Sadism follows.
Squeezebox Update
A while back I wrote about a music streaming device called the Squeezebox from Slim Devices. I had a couple of complaints about the box at the time, but these have been cleaned up by a recent firmware update.
Now I clearly think this is the way to get your MP3 music around your house. The interface is easy to use and is very quick. If you are looking for a way to spread your music from your computer to other parts of your home, this is it.
Also Slim Devices have a new device, simply titled "Squeezebox", pictured above. This device has a great new look and all the great features of the Squeezebox 2.
