When Blue Turns To Pink

Over at Minnesota Stories they have a nice video featuring a remix of the Smattering song "Rajah Pink and Wading Pool Blue". I remember not being that into the remix when the cd came out but it seems to work great with this nice video.

Minnesota Stories by the way is run by Chuck Olson. You should definitely bookmark this site and any other that he runs. I'm not sure where he finds the time to do all that he does, but keep on truckin' man.

Dubya – the movie

There has never been a patriot like him. His legacy will be remembered for all time. He is Dubya!

Interesting

My neighbor stopped by the other day to see how I was doing. While he was here he walked in to my kitchen and started staring at a pan on the counter.

In the pan was loose tea, 2 tea bags and a piece of construction paper. He asked what it saw and I told him that I was making a birthday card for my brother.

He stared at it for another 20 seconds and then said, "interesting".

My guess is that he will not be coming back.

Hump Day?

It's Wednesday and I've been able to keep my comic book purchasing to just one title. "American Virgin" is about a teenage evangelist who travels the country promoting abstinence and a "virginity until marriage pledge". This is all fine and well until his girlfriend and promised one is decapitated by terrorists in Mozambique. Yes, this is a work of sarcasm.

The head pains have been god awful as of late, so if you haven't heard from me in a while that is why. Feel free to pick up the phone damn it and make a pledge to go visit your old pal Bill. I will supply the iced green tea, topics of conversation and weed. Lisa may even have a beer in the fridge.

Isabel turned the big 6 a few weeks back so she is a big shot now. I tried to explain to her that there are things around the house that she could do now. Her reply, "Whatever". I had to leave the room to go laugh. Her favorite music right now is by Bob Marley. Maybe she will miss that faze in college.

Also if you missed it, May 3rd, was Bruce's birthday. He is now at the Chuck Foreman of Birthdays.

Last Saturday I ran into Mark Wheat at the Living Green Expo. It was great to see him. When I first met Mark he was doing a show on KFAI. When he left there they had a big farewell show for him at the 400 Bar. During the evening I talked the Plastic Constellations into letting me go on stage with them during a song. I didn't know any of the words to the song, I was very drunk and it was all so obvious. I loved it.
