Google oogling GrandCentral

TechCrunch is reporting that Google is in talks to buy out my favorite new company GrandCentral.

As you might remember from one of my earlier posts GrandCentral gives you a free phone number for life and allows you to point it at all of your other phone numbers. You then only have to give people a single phone number to call you on. You manage this from a simple to use web interface where you can add and delete numbers, listen to voice mails and manage mailboxes. You can also do all of this from your phone if you are not near a web browser.

Adding GrandCentral to Google's Gmail and Gtalk programs will make for mighty phone arsenal.
