Welcome to Gear Gab!

Gear Gab started in 1998 as a personal web page for Bill McGuire. A few years later blogs came out I realized that I had invented them. I also invented the pop can and mascara. In this blog I write about these inventions and the many other wonderful discoveries that I stumble into.

I live in Minneapolis, MN and am into extreme marathons, banishment, visi-goths, non-atonal music, and quad-stich quilting.

I live in a house in the NE part of Minneapolis, before that I had lived in 17 apartments in 15 years. I hope I never have to move again and to achive this I will hoard every nick-nack, toy, magazine, old newspaper, comic book, and half working piece of electronic gear that I can get my hands on.

I have a wife, a daughter and a dog named bear.
